Study: Older Facebook users more likely to spread fake news

A new study suggests that older Facebook users are more likely to spread fake news.

Researchers at Princeton University and NYU found that Facebook users older than 65 shared seven times more misinformation during the 2016 presidential campaign than users ages 18-29.

More than 90 percent of users did not spread misinformation.
