SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – Dino Babers’ squad remains undefeated as they beat Florida State 30-7 in their second game inside the Dome this season.

This is Syracuse’s first win against Florida State in the Carrier Dome (the Seminoles are 4-0 at the Dome.)

It took either team a while to get any traction in the first half — with SU scoring only 6 points and Florida State none.

Florida State remained scoreless until the last six minutes of the fourth quarter when Deondre Francoise rushed up the middle for a touchdown.

Quarterback Eric Dungey took a helmet-to-helmet hit late in the second quarter and did not start the second half.

SU redshirt freshman quarterback Tommy DeVito came on and took advantage of the Seminoles penalty.

The Orange (3-0) will take on Connecticut next Saturday inside the Dome. The Huskies are 1-2 on the season.
