Three Buffalo women charged with stealing $2,000 worth of merchandise from Victoria’s Secret

Three Buffalo women have been charged with stealing $2,000 worth of merchandise from Victoria’s Secret at the Eastern Hills Mall. 

Store employees called New York State Police on Sunday to report the theft and provided a description of the suspects’ vehicle. 

State Police observed the vehicle on State Route 33 shortly after and performed a traffic stop. The three occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of the stolen merchandise, as well as other stolen merchandise and a specially designed purse for shoplifting. 

Police charged Shawndrina Hicks, 34, Michelle Brown, 37, and Rickita Latham, 33, with fourth degree grand larceny, possession of burglar tools, fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, and fifth degree conspiracy. 

Latham was also charged with false personation and making a false written statement after police said she provided a false name during her arrest and processing. 

Latham was wanted on a parole violation warrant. 

All three were arraigned in Clarence Court and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $500, $25,000, anf $25,000 bail respectively.
