Cheektowaga Police: Man shot in arm during robbery outside of gentleman’s club

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Cheektowaga Police say that a man was shot in the arm during a robbery outside of Pharaoh’s Gentlemen’s Club on Aero Drive early Monday morning.

Police say two men who knew each other were leaving the club around 4 a.m. and got into separate vehicles when two other men ran up to the vehicles and demanded items and cash.

One of the suspects had a gun and shot one of the victims while he was sitting in the car. Both victims got out of their cars and ran while the suspects chased them. Police say the victims fell on the ground and jewelry and cash were taken from them at that time.

Police say at least one more shot was fired, but didn’t hurt anyone.

The injured person was taken to ECMC for treatment and is expected to recover.

A representative for Pharoah’s says the club is working with Cheektowaga Police to find the people responsible.

Aero Drive was shut down for several hours Monday morning during the investigation. It has reopened, but Cheektowaga Police Detectives are still investigating. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Det. Griffin at 716-686-3979

Morning classes at the Erie BOCES 1 Harkness Career & Technical Center are canceled Monday morning as a result of the road closure.

At this time, p.m. classes are expected to happen as usual.
