(WIVB) – Members of the union representing Catholic Health workers are voting whether to authorize a strike against their employer.

The CWA represents nurses and other front-line workers at Catholic Health.

They say the hospital system won’t address understaffing, which affects workers as well as patient care.

Last week, the hospital system filed unfair labor practice charges against the union, saying Catholic Health has been bargaining in good faith since February.
