Two injured by falling light poles in Buffalo during the wind storm

The City of Buffalo has reported two injures as a result of the wind storm. 

According to Buffalo’s Fire Commissioner, two people have been injured by falling light poles. One of those incidents occured at Niagara and Garfield. 

Fire Commissioner William Renaldo said those injuries were not severe.

“There’s a lot of flying debris out there. A lot of branches are coming down, trees coming down,” said Renaldo. 

As of Sunday evening, the city has responded to 100 forestry calls for trees, 19 traffic signal calls, and 22 calls for street lights down.
