BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo’s food industry is as strong as it has ever been, recently having been ranked the third best food city in the world by National Geographic. Two new spots are opening up for Buffalo’s foodies.
Buffalo’s first of its kind, Allen Street Poutine served its first customers officially Friday. They say they knew it would be a success because they did a test run last weekend.
“We opened up for five hours,” Jacob Fraser, an owner said. “Fantastic reviews, people said they loved the food. We opened up this morning and had lines out the door.”
Allen Street Poutine will be open until 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights.
Another new food joint plays to those who enjoy a hearty meal. Allen Burger Venture opened Thursday near Allen Street Poutine. The burger joint has a variety of burgers, mac-n-cheese skillets and craft beer.
