UAW raising pay for GM employees on the picket line

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)–The United Auto Workers Union is raising the pay for GM employees on the picket line.

Thousands of workers have been striking for close to a month, including about 3,000 in Western New York.

They’ve been getting strike pay of $250 a week since walking out.

UAW officials say pay will be raised to $275.
