BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The wife of UB Men’s Head Basketball Coach Nate Oats has been declared cancer-free.

Oats posted a message about his wife Crystal on Twitter Thursday.

Crystal Oats underwent a successful stem cell transplant in April after being diagnosed with double hit lymphoma.

Last year, Iowa State Athletics raised more than $11,000 for the Oats family so that they could pay for treatment. The University at Buffalo men’s basketball team was scheduled to play Iowa State during the season.
