Two former employees of a group home in Webster have been sentenced in connection with the death of a woman who lived there.
Twenty-six-year-old Sarah DiLallo was sentenced to one to three years for manslaughter and endangering the welfare. Sixty-one-year-old Sandra Abdo was sentenced to five years’ probation for criminally negligent homicide.
The pair were arrested last year after the death of 35-year-old Heather Roselli. Roselli lived at the home run by Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Services.
Police say DiLallo and Abdo grabbed Roselli when she tried to make a phone call, pinning her to the ground. We’re told Roselli then went into cardiac arrest and never regained consciousness.
