Winner crowned in fattest bear contest

A chubby champ has been crowned in Alaska’s Katmai National Park fattest bear contest.

After eating an impressive amount of salmon over the summer, bear 409, Beadnose, is taking home the title.

The competition requires bears to eat one year’s worth of food in six months to survive hibernation.

This is Beadnose’s second victory in the competition. She first won in 2015.
