A Town of Collins woman has been charged with vehicular manslaughter after a crash that killed a man in September.
Prosecutors say Allyson Rollek, 25, was driving west on Creek Rd. in Concord when she crossed the center lines and struck an eastbound vehicle head-on.
The crash happened around 2:20 p.m. on the afternoon of September 29.
As a result, Ralph Spaulding, 66, was killed and his 11-year-old passener was injured.
At the time, deputies said they felt Rollek’s demeanor and manner of speech were consistent with narcotic use. The Erie County District’s Attorney’s Office says fentanyl was present in her blood.
If Rollek is convicted, she could spend up to seven years in prison.
