(UPDATE)
CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police confirm that the woman shot at a Cheektowaga 7-Eleven has died. Hannah Morse, 23, was a resident of Cheektowaga and an employee at the store.

Travis J. Zukic, 27, also of Cheektowaga, was arraigned Sunday on one count of Second Degree Murder.
Prosecutors say it doesn’t appear that the incident was a robbery attempt, and it also doesn’t appear that Zukic and Morse knew each other. According to Erie County District Attorney John Flynn, Morse had only been working at the store for a couple of weeks.
“It appears to just be a random, senseless act of violence,” Flynn said. “But that could change.”
Police say Zukic is currently being held at the Erie County Holding Center and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, March 5th.
Court paperwork indicates Zukic lives less than a half-mile from the 7-Eleven. Officials with Twin City Ambulance tell News 4 he previously spent time with their organization, taking part in a boot camp program there.
“The defendant has no prior criminal history,” Flynn said. “He apparently does have some prior mental health history. I suspect that is going to be an issue in this case.”
7-Eleven released a statement on the matter, saying “Our hearts are with the victim and their family. We are gathering information and working with local law enforcement. The store is currently closed while police complete their investigation.”
