Michael Lang, the co-founder of Woodstock 50, believes a media outlet hacked Woodstock 50’s computers, according to the Democrat and Chronicle.
Lang did not mention what information may have been targeted or who is responsible, but he believes the hack occurred on Wednesday.
“That would be the only reason I can think of”, said Lang when asked why he believes a media outlet is behind the hack. “It’s news people who are trolling and someone went off the deep end.”
This latest development grows the snowball of bad news Woodstock 50 has received this week after financier Dentsu announced Monday there were pulling funding and canceling the anniversary festival.
On Wednesday production company Superfly pulled their support for the festival, though Lang says the show must go on.
