Toyota planning to make lunar rover

Toyota is shooting for the moon!

In about 10 years, the car manufacturer hopes people will be riding around the moon in a fuel cell-powered electric lunar rover.

Toyota and Japan’s space agency are teaming up for the build. It will be 20 feet long and be able to carry two people thousands of miles across the moon’s surface.

People can live in it without wearing spacesuits.

Toyota plans to send this rover into space by 2029.
