After Southern Illinois put a scare in No. 10 Kentucky last week, UB head Nate Oats knew his newly ranked Bulls would be in for a battle Monday night.

Behind 11 points from Jeremy Harris and Montell McRae, the 25th ranked Bulls held off Southern Illinois to improve to 3-0 with a 62-53 win.

Trailing by seven in the first half, UB used an 11-0 run, highlighted by a 3-pointer former from Harris in the final seconds, to give Buffalo a four point lead at the break.

McRae meanwhile went 4-for-4 from the floor, which included two 3-pointers.

UB returns Wednesday, Nov. 21, when they host Dartmouth.
