A.J. McCaron and Nathan Peterman listed as QB1 on depth chart

Ahead of their first preseason game against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, the Bills released their first “unofficial” depth chart of the season.

Both A.J. McCarron and Nathan Peterman were listed as QB 1 while Josh Allen was was the third quarterback on the roster.

Throughout training camp head coach Sean McDermott has maintained the rotation among quarterbacks would continue between McCarron and Peterman, with Allen mixing in with the first unit as well.

Ryan Groy and Russell Bodine are also listed as the top center ahead of the preseason opener.  Groy has been with the team since 2015 while Bodine signed  as a free agent in March.  Adam Redmond, who is listed as the third center, has received high praise throughout camp from McDermott as the battle for the top center job continues.

Kickoff between the Bills and Panthers is scheduled for 7 p.m. at New Era Field Thursday night.
