30 in 30: Ronald Jones

Buffalo Bills

USC’S Ronald Jones is one of the most underrated play makers in the 2018 draft. The elusive running back was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection in 2017. He finished in the top ten nationally in rushing yards with 1,550 and rushing touchdowns with 19. Jones had a particular way of describing his style of running.

“I’m a quick north and south runner, 3 down back, decisive, a lot speed, just trying to score every play,” Jones said.

His playing style and his jersey number bring to mind a certain running back already in Buffalo, a guy Ronald Jones says he’d enjoy sharing a backfield with.

“Learning from LeSean McCoy, who I pattern my game after, would be a great experience for me to develop and eventually become a lead back,” said Jones.

Just like LeSean McCoy, Ronald Jones is projected to be a 2nd round draft pick.
