ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Former Bills center Eric Wood is joining the teams’ radio broadcast booth as the color commentator.

Wood is replacing former Bills safety Mark Kelso who has worked in that capacity with the Bills for the past 13 years.

Eric Wood was a first round pick by the Bills in 2009 out of Louisville. He played some guard, but mostly center for the Bills until he was forced to retire from football after the 2017 season when a post season physical discovered a potentially dangerous problem with his neck.

Wood is also taking on a new television endeavor as well, last week it was announced that he would join ESPN’s new ACC Network as part of one of their broadcasting crews.
