Antonio Brown will not go to Buffalo Bills

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Antonio Brown will not be traded to the Buffalo Bills.

Late Thursday night, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that the Bills were close to a deal that would bring Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers to Orchard Park.

The wide receiver was drafted by the Steelers in 2010.

Rapoport's new report on Friday morning said that despite intense talks, the Bills backed out. The Bills confirmed this during the morning.

Buffalo Bills General Manager Brandon Beane said “We inquired about Antonio Brown on Tuesday and kept talks open with the Steelers. We had positive discussions, but ultimately, it didn’t make sense for either side. As great a player as Antonio Brown is, we have moved on and our focus is on free agency.”
