Report: Bills Expected to Add Cornerback

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Bills are adding free agent cornerback Kevin Johnson, according to Ian Rapoport.

Johnson would likely compete with Levi Wallace for the starting spot opposite of Tre’Davious White.

Houston selected Johnson in the first round of the 2015 draft and he played the last 4 seasons with the Texans.

The 26-year-old had his 2018 season cut short when he suffered a concussion in week one and was placed on injured reserve.

Johnson has started 18 games in 4 season because he’s struggled to stay healthy during his career. He suffered a broken foot, MCL sprain, and concussion.

The cornerback has 1 career interception and 122 tackles.
