Cavan Biggio is officially a member of the Blue Jays.

Rated as the ninth best prospect in Toronto’s prospect pipeline, Biggio hit .307 with six home runs and 26 RBI in 42 games in his first stint in AAA with the Bisons.

Biggio is the son of Hall of Famer Craig Biggio, who played his entire career with the Houston Astros.

The 24-year-old was the Eastern League’s Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year with AA New Hampshire last season and helped lead the Fisher Cats to a championship in 2018.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. is also heading to Toronto.  He saw action in 13 games with the Blue Jays before being sent down to Buffalo.
