Cavan Biggio clubbed his sixth home run of the season to help power the Bisons to a 10-1 win in game one of their doubleheader against Pawtucket.

The Paw Sox would get the edge in game two to earn the split with a 6-5 victory.

After falling behind 1-0 in the first inning of game one, Biggio and Richard Urena each drove in runs to put the Bisons out front.

They would continue to assault Paw Sox pitching in the fourth inning as Anthony Alford and Michael De La Cruz each hit home runs to push their lead to 4-1.  Jordan Patterson added an RBI triple to round out the inning.

After adding a run in the fifth, the Herd would explode for four more runs, which included Biggio’s two run blast, to cruise to victory.

A back and forth affair in game two of their double header, Pawtucket scored the go-ahead run in the top of the eight inning in a 6-5 win over Buffalo.

Trailing 3-2 heading into the bottom of the fourth inning, Jordan Patterson singled home Patrick Cantwell and then scored on an RBI double from Lourdes Gurriel Jr. to give Buffalo a 4-3 lead.

The Paw Sox would answer back two two runs in the fifth.  Buffalo would follow that by tying the game at five courtesy of an Andy Burns home run.
