The Bisons avoided a three-game sweep, besting Rochester in the series finale with a 9-5 win on Sunday.

Buffalo improved to 22-30 while Rochester dipped to 20-32 on the season.

Bisons starting pitcher Sean Reid-Foley picked up his second win of the season, striking out five over five innings of work.

Patrick Kivlehan went 4-for-5 at the plate and homered twice, once in the fifth inning and then again in the ninth.

Left fielder Billy McKinney launched his first home run with the Herd while Socrates Brito hit his third of the year.

Tomorrow the Bisons welcome the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders to Sahlen Field for a double header, which will feature the completion of their game that was suspended on April 20, where Buffalo had the lead 1-0 in the top of the third.
