Cavan Biggio and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. could be the next two players in the Blue Jays’ pipeline to be heading to the big club in Toronto.
According to SportsNet, the two are expected to be called up by the team on Friday.
Biggio hit .307 in 42 to games with the Bisons. He also has six home runs and 26 RBI.
Gurriel Jr., who started the season in Toronto, is hitting .273. The outfielder has collected at least one hit in eight of his last 11 games. Gurriel Jr. also had an 11-game hitting streak in late April.
The Blue Jays top prospect, Vlad Guerrero Jr., joined the Blue Jays on April 24. After some rookie struggles, he’s bounced back and has hit five home runs in his last seven games.
