Vlad Jr. Hits 4th Homer in 4 Nights, Bisons Fall to Toledo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Vlad Guerro Jr. hit his fourth home run in just as many nights, but the rest the Bisons' offense would fall short, as they lost to Toledo 6-3.

Vlad Jr's home run came in the fourth inning, when he blasted a ball just over the wall in right field.

The record for most consecutive games with a home run for the Bisons is 5. It was last accomplished by Andy Marte in 2006.

Anthony Alford and Tim Lopes capped off Buffalo's offense for the night, each driving in a run.

Toledo used a four run fourth inning to take a five to one lead, and hold on for good.

Tyler Alexander earned the win for the Mud Hens, tossing seven innings, allowing three runs, and striking out four batters.

Brandon Cumpton allowed five runs and struck out five batters in the loss.

The Bisons look to go for the series win Sunday afternoon.
