The University at Buffalo women’s basketball team stunned Western Michigan Saturday afternoon when Cierra Dillard launched a full court pass to Summer Hemphill, who layed the ball in with 1.1 second left to play to give the Bulls the 61-59 win.

UB outscored the Broncos 20-8 in the fourth quarter to earn their fourth straight win. Western Michigan started the game on an 8-0 run, but the Bulls would come back with a 12-5 run to cut the Broncos lead to one. Both teams would go back and forth in the second quarter, but Western Michigan would head into halftime with a 33-26 lead.

After three quarters, the Bulls would trail by ten. But the fourth quarter belonged to the Bulls. Brittany Morrison and Hemphill would both hit free throws down the stretch to tie the game twice late.

Hemphill led all scorers with a double double, tallying 19 points and 14 rebounds. Dillard chipped in 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals and Morrison added a double-double of her own with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
