Cierra Dillard scored 26 points and added a career high 11 assists to help power Buffalo past Northern Illinois 93-64 Saturday afternoon at Alumni Arena.
With the win, the Bulls have now won six straight games to improve to 14-4 overall and 6-1 in Mid-American Conference play.
Summer Hemphill added 18 in the victory while Hanna Hall had 17.
Dillard also became the 25th player in program history to eclipse the 1,000 point mark in her career.
UB led by 14 after three quarters but surged in the fourth, outscoring the Huskies 30-15 over the final 10 minutes.
While Bulls shot a blistering 57 percent in the final quarter, they also locked down on defense, holding the Huskies to a lowly 17 percent shooting. In fact, UB held NIU without a field goal over the final 5:30 of the game.
Buffalo will look to make it seven straight wins Wednesday when they travel to Ball State, who they defeated 77-65 earlier this season.
