Sabres captain Jack Eichel and winger Jeff Skinner each scored in the 3-on-3 Tournament at the NHL All-Star game, but it wasn’t enough as the Atlantic fell to the Metropolitian Division 6-4 in the tournament semifinals.

Trailing 2-0 after the Pittsburgh’s Sidney Crosby and Columbus’ Seth Jones opened the scoring for the Metro, Eichel found the back of the net for the Atlantic’s first of the night.

Following Jones’ tally, the Sabres’ star centerman won the ensuing faceoff, entered the zone and eight seconds later buried a feed from Boston’s David Pastrnak to make it a 2-1 game.

Once again down a goal, this time it was Pastrnak and Skinner teaming up and pulling the Atlantic even at 3-3, as Skinner sent his attempt over the shoulder of Washington netminder Braden Holtby.

The Metro will face the Central in the 3-on-3 championship game, after they defeated the Pacific 10-4.
