Felisha Legette-Jack interviews at Penn State

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Fresh off a second straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, University at Buffalo's Felisha Legette-Jack is one of the hot coaching names in college basketball.

According to sources, the 52-year-old recently interviewed for the opening at Penn State.

The Nittany Lions fired Conquese Washington in early March after 12 years.

ESPN recently listed Legette-Jack as a potential candidate at Tennessee after the Vols parted ways with Holly Warlick.

Legette-Jack has transformed the program at UB and earned national recognition for her success on the court.

The Bulls won the Mid-American Conference championship in 2016, earned at at-large dig to the NCAA Tournament last season and finished ranked in the Top 25, and then captured the program's second MAC title in four years this past season.

In her seven years at the helm Legette-Jack, who starred at Syracuse University as a player in the 1980's, has amassed a 142-85 overall record. She has 283 career wins, which includes stops at Hofstra and Indiana.
