C.J. Massinburg was one of the key players that helped build the UB men’s basketball into a Mid-Major dynasty.  Now, he’ll look to make an impact in the NBA.

Massinburg, who led UB averaging 18.4 points per game, has agreed to join the Brooklyn Nets Summer League team.

During his career Massinburg helped the Bulls win three Mid-American Conference crowns in four years and earn three trips to the NCAA Tournament.

This past season he helped UB set a program record with 32 wins and climb as high as 14th in the AP Top 25 rankings.  They advanced to the NCAA Tournament and defeated Arizona State in the opening round before falling to Texas Tech in the second.
