Wide receiver Anthony Johnson headlines the list of UB football players who are ranked in the CBS Sports’ Top 100 Prospects ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Johnson, who is 12th on the list, ranked sixth nationally finishing last season with 1,356 yards and was third with 14 touchdowns.
Quarterback Tyree Jackson missed four games due to injury, but started eight and helped power the Bulls to a 6-6 overall record and to bowl eligibility for the first time since 2013. Jackson tossed for more than 2,000 yards. He threw 12 touchdowns and ran for another score. He’s ranked as the 82nd best prospect.
Linebacker Khalil Hodge earned honors in the Top 100 as well, coming in at 62. Hodge set a school record fot tackles and ranked second in the nation last season with 154. He also added three sacks, two interceptions and forced two fumbles.
UB kicks off the season Sept. 1 against Delaware State.
