UB Bulls kick off new season tonight

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The UB Bulls kick off the new season tonight at home against Robert Morris.

The Bulls are coming off a school record 10-win season. Although they’ve lost some top players since then, there are a lot of new and promising faces for fans to look forward to. 

West Seneca native, Matt Myers is one of them. The red shirt freshman was named starting quarterback for the Bulls. UB Athletic Director Mark Alnutt calling him a hometown hero. “We are excited for his era to begin and there are going to be others that step up as well,” he said.

Before all the action on the field starts, fans will be able to tailgate starting at 4 pm at Stampede Square. There are also several parking lots to pregame in. There are also food trucks, games and some music from country music star Raelynn.

4pm : Stampede Square Opens
5pm : Tailgate Concert 
7pm : Kick-off vs. Robert Morris
