Empire State Weekly Nursing Home Investigations and Governor Executive Powers

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — There are growing indications that Governor Cuomo and his administration could face state and federal consequences for their actions related to nursing home data. The new reported investigations come as there's also an increased level of support for stripping the governor for the executive powers the state legislature granted him at the beginning of the pandemic, nearly one year ago. And the governor is also now in the middle of war of words with New York City Assemblyman Ron Kim, who's at the center of one of those pushes to remove those powers.
