This morning expect a few areas with localized scattered snow showers. There will be some light coatings across the higher terrain of the Southern Tier, possibly some isolated spots with 1-2", similar to what we saw this past week. Some flakes could be found across the lower terrain including the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metro, but no accumulation is expected on roads or surfaces in the cities. By afternoon, partial sun develops bringing slight improvements. Temperatures will struggle into the lower 40s, upper 30s across the hills.
Tonight, skies will remain mostly cloudy and there is a chance for some lake snow to redevelop. This should not be strong or heavy due to a lot of limiting elements in the atmosphere. Lows tonight will fall into the low to mid 30s.
Some drier, still breezy weather returns Monday. Scattered showers will be possible Tuesday, mostly falling in the form of rain, with just a few wet flakes possible Tuesday night. High pressure will return, bringing a fair amount of cool, dry weather through the rest of the week.
